Météo- has placed ten departments on yellow alert for rain-flooding this Friday, October 18.

Beware of bad weather. This Friday, October 18, ten departments were placed by Météo-France on yellow rain and flood vigilance. These are Haute-Corse, Alpes-Maritimes, , Aveyron, Corrèze, Haute-, Côte-d’Or, Haute-, Meuse, Meurthe-et -.

Ten other departments are placed on orange vigilance by Météo-France, for the same reason: Ardèche, Haute-Garonne, Hautes-Pyrénées, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Gers, Tarn, Lot-et-Garonne, Tarn-et-Garonne, Dordogne, and Lot.

In addition to rains and floods, Var, Alpes-Maritimes and Haute-Corse are also subject to yellow alert for thunderstorms.

“A few stormy showers resist in the morning in the South-East quarter and spill over into Corsica, but over the hours some clearings manage to develop”, we can read in the latest Météo-France bulletin.
