Points loaned: Victorious end of season for Messoussa and Raghouber, Bayo scorer for the last

Last weekend of competition for four of the five players loaned by LOSC. This weekend marks the end of the season for Ugo Raghouber, Amine Messoussa, Mohamed Bayo and Alan Virginius. The opportunity to take a look back at their season.

For most players on loan, the season is coming to an end. It’s time to take stock as they prepare to return to their original club. For the last one, the destinies were crossed, between victories for Ugo Raghouber and Amine Messoussa, defeats for Alan Virginius and Mohamed Bayo and a draw for Akim Zedadka.

Alan Virginius (Clermont Foot 63)

The last one turned into a nightmare for Alan Virginius with Clermont. Already condemned to relegation, the Auvergnats played their last match in the elite this weekend against Lorient, 17th and almost assured of playing in Ligue 2 next season. The meeting between Alan Virginius and his people quickly took a wrong turn. Five goals conceded for none scored, the Lille player was unable to influence the final result, even if he started on the right side. He played 82 minutes before returning north this summer.

Gleaned playing time

Having gone on loan to find playing time, it’s done for Alan Virginius. The 21-year-old winger has played 14 Ligue 1 Uber Eats matches since this winter, spending an average of 67 minutes on the pitch. In addition to that, the former Sochaux player also had his importance in the Clermont game. Aligned on the right side, he was the author of three assists this season. Clermont remains the worst attack in the championship but the player on loan from LOSC showed good things.

Mohamed Bayo (Le Havre AC)

Mohamed Bayo played one last time in the Le Havre jersey. After his ankle injury, the Guinean came into play against OM. Despite his team’s defeat, it’s a double celebration for the 25-year-old striker. He scored a goal, from a penalty in stoppage time despite the defeat (1-2). His team also remained in the elite for the next Ligue 1 season. It was his fifth goal of the season, having arrived this summer in Normandy.

Repeated twists and turns

The season started well for Mohamed Bayo. By joining Le Havre during the month of August, the striker on loan from LOSC was looking for playing time when nothing was assured in the North of France. Over the first half of the season, the Guinean scored four goals and was a permanent starter. But after the CAN and the arrival of André Ayew, the attacker appears less decisive and will leave the eleven around March. At the end of February, he clashed with a supporter, failing to turn the tide in his favor.

Akim Zedadka (Real Zaragoza)

The end of the season is getting closer in Liga Adelante. Akim Zedadka is playing his last minutes in the Real Zaragoza jersey, and it is once again a starter that the 28-year-old Algerian full-back started the match against Racing Ferrol. For the 40th day, Real Zaragoza conceded the draw (2-2) and remains in the soft underbelly of the antechamber of Spanish football. He played a total of 83 minutes as left back.

The summary of the meeting is here.

Missed goals

Like Alan Virginius, Akim Zedadka headed to Spain in order to find playing time. Having left this winter when he was not in Paulo Fonseca’s plans, the full-back wanted to bounce back from side of Zaragoza playing as much as possible. Something achieved in the first weeks of his loan. For a month, he will be a starter for his club, but from March onwards, he will be relegated to the bench, not playing five matches in a row. He then found a place in the rotation, until starting in the last two games.

Ugo Raghouber (Le Mans FC)

Last match of the National season for Ugo Raghouber. Facing Marignane, the 20-year-old midfielder was once again the starter for his team’s victory in stoppage time. He was even decisive by being involved in the pass during Le Mans’ second goal in the last minute, his first of the season. Le Mans therefore ends the season in fifth place in the National championship with 52 points.

The season of revelation

He is perhaps the best Lille loanee this season. At 20 years old, Ugo Raghouber showed great maturity to establish himself in the starting eleven at Le Mans despite the obstacles in his way. Injured for almost three and a half months from October to February, victim of a metatarsal fracture, the Lille native was able to bounce back and return to a high level. Since February, he has played all matches as a starter (excluding suspension). A good individual season, the proof, he was one of the revelations of the season for the National championship.

Amine Messoussa (FC Villefranche-Beaujolais)

Like last week, Amine Messoussa was not in the FC Villefranche-Beaujolais group for the last of the season. Already relegated, the club from the Lyon region wanted to finish in the best possible way. It’s done with the victory against AS Nancy-Lorraine. This victory for Amine Messoussa’s teammates allows Ugo Raghouber’s Le Mans to take fifth place, the Lille resident was present in Lille, for the draw recorded between LOSC and US Chantilly (2-2) in National 3.

Professional debut

The loan to Villefranche-Beaujolais, in National, allowed Amine Messoussa to discover the high level and to already play certain matches against professional clubs. Arriving this winter, the 19-year-old striker was able to gain experience for his future at LOSC. In eleven matches and just over 700 minutes, Amine Messoussa found the net twice and provided an assist. In a club fighting for its survival and facing tough competition, the young scorer on loan from LOSC has managed to show good things.
