A vehicle refused to stop to submit to a police check and fled on the night of Monday October 14 to Tuesday October 15, in the north of Marseille. Four police officers were injured. A chase with the BAC police officers
A little after 2 a.m. on Tuesday October 15, a motorist refused to submit to a police roadblock, according to a police source. The fleeing car hit the BAC patrol, the police came out with their weapons. The fleeing vehicle reversed and managed to exit the ramp. The vehicle was intercepted shortly after the incident.
Four police officers were slightly injured during this chase when the fleeing car hit the BAC patrol. The officers suffer from neck, shoulder and back pain.
Suspects aged 16 to 22 arrested
The driver of the vehicle in question is a 22-year-old from Marseillais. Two of the occupants of the car are 19 years old, the fourth is a 16-year-old minor who has run away, according to police sources. The police headquarters indicated on social networks that following this “serious” refusal to comply, the four suspects were intercepted and placed in police custody.
The driver is being prosecuted for intentional violence against a person holding public authority with a weapon by destination, attempted homicide and damage to public property, and the passengers for complicity in intentional violence.

The police headquarters indicated on its X account that checks are carried out on a daily basis against drug trafficking. Several checks and operations by the national police were carried out over the weekend in Marseille, notably at Moulin de Mai and Félix Puyat, in the northern districts of the city, which resulted in seven arrests and drug seizures.
