A school supervisor brutally attacked in Thiès, her ex-husband’s son accused

An act of extreme violence took place this afternoon around 2 p.m. in Thiès. The victim, a student supervisor working at CEM Hersent 2, was attacked with a knife. According to her uncle, this brutal attack was carried out by her ex-husband’s son.

According to the testimonies collected, the attacker attacked the victim, inflicting several blows before fleeing. Seriously injured, she was immediately evacuated to Thiès hospital, where she is currently struggling between life and death, reports Dakaractu.

This is not the first time that the victim has suffered violence from this individual. Still according to her uncle, her ex-husband’s son had already tried to harm her in the past. In particular, he allegedly set fire to her vehicle and made death threats against her on several occasions.

Faced with this new attack, the victim’s family plans to file a formal complaint against the alleged attacker. The local authorities have been informed and an investigation should be opened to elucidate the circumstances of this attack.
