At 18 years old, Cassius Cissé still has a long way to go before following in his father’s footsteps. On the other hand, it is not certain that he will decide to opt for the French selection because of his numerous origins.
A well-known name has alerted many English fans, including Liverpool. At 18, a certain Cassius Cissé made his professional debut with Notts County FC facing Northampton in the fourth division. He is none other than the son of Djibril Cissé, former French international and former Liverpool, Sunderland and the Queens Park Rangers during his career.
Cissé will have a choice to make
Cassius Cissé has just written the first pages of its story. The questions surrounding his sporting nationality are still distant, but could become a real subject since the player is likely to play for five selections as his father explained in November 2023.
