Bad weather caused a landslide near Saint-Chamond.

Travelers on the SNCF line between and Saint-Etienne will have to be patient. Traffic will remain disrupted until October 29 after the landslide that occurred at the beginning of the week near the tracks near Saint-Chamond following bad weather.

Consolidation work is indeed necessary to allow normal traffic to resume. Traffic is currently possible on one lane. Trains will therefore be canceled again while others will see their timetables modified due to the reduction in speed on a portion of the line.
