As we announced on our columns, a meeting, at the summit, of the mgovernmental majoritywas held Wednesday October 9. The objective was to raise several questions linked to the economic, political and social situation of the country, as indicated in a press release released on the morning of Thursday, October 10.

In this press release, the parties of the government majority (RNI, PAM and PI) express their rejection of the latest decision of the Court of Justice of the European Union (ECJ). “Its content lacks foresight, impartiality and attests to a lack of legal knowledge”, affirms the majority for whom “the file of the territorial integrity of Morocco is the exclusive responsibility of the United Nations a you Security Council“.

“The sovereignty of Morocco over its southern regions cannot suffer from any blackmail or negotiation. [la majorité, ndlr] supports the unshakeable position of the Moroccan State not to engage in any agreement or accept a legal document which does not respect national territorial integrity”, add the Majority parties.

After condemning the Israeli attacks against the Palestinian and Lebanese people, calling for regional disputes to be resolved by a return to the negotiating tables, the government majority expressed itself on questions of internal politics.

She praised the “speed and seriousness” of the government’s efforts in implementing public programs and policies, as well as the effectiveness of its intervention following the “shocks and natural disasters” experienced by the country.

After welcoming the strong involvement of the government in the realization of the construction siteEtat social in terms of generalization of health coverage, housing and health, the majority promised to move forward to install a quality public school, a breeding ground for future skills, to enable it to fulfill its mission of social elevator.

On the economic level, the majority say they understand the problem of l’inflation in Morocco over the last two years and the gradual increases in certain products. “Imported inflation”, affirms the majority, which recalls the government’s “voluntary” measures to deal with it: direct social assistance to families and intervention to guarantee the stability of water and electricity prices.

The employment file will be at the top of the priorities in the next stage

The majority promised that the government would persevere in its action to improve the social and financial conditions of Moroccans with particular attention to middle class and sustained action to achieve territorial justice for the benefit of precarious areas.

“The employment issue will be at the top of the priorities in the next stage,” promises the government majority, which says it is pleased with the degree of “cohesion” of its components.
