“It was done.” Didier Migaud, the Minister of Justice, announced this Thursday, October 10 on BFMTV that the request for extradition of Taha O., suspected of the murder of the young Filipina, “was made yesterday”.
“France will, of course, insist that this person be tried in France,” adds the Minister of Justice.
Philippine, a 19-year-old student at the University of Paris-Dauphine, was found dead in the Bois de Boulogne on September 21. A man, already convicted of rape and included in the wanted persons file, was arrested on September 24 at a Geneva station in Switzerland.

Side O.aged 22 and of Moroccan nationality, was required to leave French territory (OQTF) but the request for a pass to Morocco, made on June 18, 2024, had not been issued by the correct service.
