Houses invaded by water, roads and fields flooded… The Kirk depression caused damage in the Ancenis region.
A day without end. All day, until around 6:30 p.m., rain fell in the Ancenis region. And no drizzle on the agenda! No, good rain which, in a few hours, causes the watercourses to react, overflow the ditches and flood the fields.
All sectors of the territory were affected. But concern quickly spread to the population of Maumusson (Vallons-de-l’Erdre), the small town heavily affected by the torrential storms of June 19. The Morleyère stream has swelled well. Cellars and garages were flooded. But the damage is still less.
The Mésanger sector was also impacted. It rained so much that the Beusse and the Cornouaille body of water that the stream feeds overflowed onto the surrounding roads. There too, cellars and garages were invaded by water.
Everywhere else, in the country of Ancenis, fields and roads were flooded.
