You don’t know what to do this Thursday, May 9, Ascension Day? A flea market is held at Place Flagey from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. The event is organized as part of the Ixelles fair by Petites Puces. Due to work taking place at Place Flagey, the flea market is exceptionally moved along the ponds. In total, 120 exhibitors are expected. Activities for children are also planned, as well as food and drink.
Les Petites Puces is also organizing a flea market in the Saint-Boniface district on Sunday, May 12, rue de la Paix, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. More than 200 second-hand dealers are expected here. On this occasion, the neighborhood’s bars, restaurants and shops will be open.
On Sunday, May 19, go to the Bailli-Châtelain flea market. The event is held over 3 kilometers and covers the following places: Place du Châtelain (if no work), Rue Campenhout, Rue Amériqueine, Rue du Bailli, Rue Faider, Rue Simonis, Parvis de la Trinité, Rue du Tabellion, Rue de l’Amazone and Rue de l’Aqueduc. This flea market is the largest in Brussels. It brings together 800 exhibitors. The times? 9am-6pm.

A Jette
The first Jette flea market of this month of May is held on Thursday May 9, avenue Capart, from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you missed the appointment, don’t panic, the “Rue en Couleurs” flea market is taking place on Rue Saint-Norbert and Rue Ledeganck from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday May 12. A week later, on Sunday May 19, 60 exhibitors await you at the Van Helmont school located Avenue Levis Mirepoix 129 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In Molenbeek-Saint-Jean
The annual Coin Perdu flea market takes place on Saturday May 11 in rue Jean Verbiest and surrounding streets. You will have the choice since 300 second-hand dealers will take up residence from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Two flea markets are expected on Saturday May 18: the first will be held on avenue du Karreveld (8 a.m.-5:30 p.m.), the second on rue Mommaerts (8 a.m.-6 p.m.).
In Uccle
On Sunday, May 12, the large Etoile-Coghen flea market, bringing together 650 exhibitors, takes place at Chaussée d’Alsemberg, as well as the Vanderkindere flea market. Finally, on Sunday May 26, it’s time for the Brocante Vert Chasseur flea market which brings together 250 exhibitors from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. You will have the opportunity to hunt for vintage clothing, antique furniture and rare books.
In Evere
On Sunday, May 19, go to the mega flea market throughout the Peace district. More than 300 exhibitors make the trip, all over three kilometers, with the added bonus of food trucks. The times? From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Finally, on Saturday May 25, it’s time for the Picardy Quarter flea market with 150 exhibitors. You can get there between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. In the program ? Stands filled with vintage treasures, unique pieces but also unusual objects. Games and shows are also offered.
