“Happy news”: Sonia Mabrouk announces her pregnancy live on CNews and will leave the air for several months

Sonia Mabrouk is expecting a happy event. The presenter of “La Grande Interview” and “Midi News” on CNews and “Grand rendez-vous” on Europe 1 sent a “personal message” live to CNews viewers this Thursday, May 9.

At the very end of the show, Sonia Mabrouk announced that she was expecting a child. “It is with pleasure and emotion, I cannot hide it, that I am going to meet you in some time, after maternity leave,” she first announced, without giving further details.

This “happy news” will keep the presenter “away from both TV and radio broadcasts” for a certain time, “before I hope to see you again soon and fully”, she continued on the set of the channel owned by businessman Vincent Bolloré.

“Lovers of Cape Town” with Pascal Obispo

After thanking her many collaborators and the viewers during this surprise announcement, Sonia Mabrouk announced that her friend Laurence Ferrari would ensure the continuity of “La Grande Interview” during this electoral campaign period. She also wanted to give a “wink to all the mothers who watch us from up there and who make things possible”.

Just a year ago, in May 2023, Paris Match magazine revealed a photo of the journalist in the company of Pascal Obispo with the title “Lovers from Cape Town”. Very discreet about this alleged relationship, the presenter who became one of the figures of CNews never confirmed that she was in a relationship with the singer.
