Top active Ligue 2 scorer, Riad Nouri will no longer play for AC Ajaccio next season!

We unfortunately felt that this could happen and Riad Nouri confirmed this Thursday afternoon at a press conference, an extract of which was shared on Twitter by journalists from France Bleu RCFM: the emblematic AC player Ajaccio will no longer play for the White and Red in 2024-2025! Very moved, the attacker who is still the top scorer in activity in League 2 wanted to thank at a press conference the people who trusted him during all these years within the Corsican club, for whom he played more than 270 official matches. At almost 39 years old, a retraining in a professional staff (or even in that of the ACA) is more than probable for the former Istres, Nîmes and HAC, who scored two more goals including a superb free kick this season.

“Thank you to the club, thank you to the management and thank you to the coach (Olivier Pantaloni). He’s the coach I’ve worked with the most in my entire life. Thanks to Johan (Cavalli, sports director of the ACA) for bringing me back too, thank you to all the teammates with whom I have been able to evolve over all these years. I hope that I would have done well for them on the pitch and that they would have been proud of me. There are still two games left, we will try to continue on this. There you go, thank you all! »
