Prediction Warrington – Hull KR

Arnaud: Hull KR

Match between two teams who have 14 points, just like the first six teams in the championship. Hull KR are in great form. They went on to win against Wigan and St Helens, while Warrington have just beaten Hull FC after losing at Salford. Certainly one of the most indecisive matches to predict. Betting on Hull KR, who must have lost steam during their last two big battles, would be very daring… and I am. I continue to bet on the Robins.

Aurélien: Warrington

It’s difficult to be 100% sure of the prediction for this match as both teams are equal on paper. Hull KR are coming off a big double performance by knocking down Wigan and St Helens in quick succession. Warrington have slowed down a little lately but will have the advantage of their beloved Halliwell Stadium and will have, not without difficulty, Hull KR.

Prediction Castleford – St Helens

Arnaud: St Helens

St Helens have just lost to Hull KR and Castleford could not decide between them and Leigh after extra time. Despite one of the best try scorers on the Tigers side, Innes Senior, the Saints should win quite easily, as they have for two years, against Craig Lingard’s men.

Aurélien: St Helens

New defeat for the Saints, the second this season. Facing them, Castleford are squatting at the bottom of the standings and, despite playing at home, risk having difficulty getting rid of a St Helens team keen to get back to winning ways as quickly as possible.

Leigh – Salford Prediction

Arnaud: Leigh

After putting in a display against the Catalans Dragons, Leigh drew against Castleford. Salford are coming off three consecutive victories. And with the return of hooker Edwin Ipape, Leigh finds its attack starter and will return to victory against Salford.

Aurélien: Leigh

Leigh slowly climbs back up the slope. After a catastrophic start to the season, undermined by injuries and suspensions, well below the performances expected of them. The victory against the Catalan Dragons put them back on the right track. Against Salford, the task will be tough but Leigh should win on their field.

Prediction Huddersfield – Wigan

Arnaud: Wigan

The Giants have lost their last two games, but by two points or less. The duel is likely to be pleasant to watch play out. These are two teams who really don’t have the same style of play, and for that, Wigan’s intensity and cleanliness will make the difference.

Aurélien: Wigan

Wigan, despite the recent defeat against Hull KR made up for it by crushing the Catalans Dragons at home last weekend. Faced with Huddersfield who are stagnating in the soft underbelly of the ranking, the task may be easier than in the last two outings for Matt Peet’s men.

I’m going to surprise people, I’m going to bet on the Dragons once again. The Catalans are returning home, after some disappointments, and will be keen to continue to keep the citadel of Gilbert Brutus impregnable in the championship.

Aurélien: Catalan Dragons

How tough it was for Steve McNamara’s men to travel to England over the last two weeks. No points from Leigh and many from Wigan but not those from the victory. However, the Catalan Dragons find their lair of Gilbert Brutus against the Rhinos guilty of having inflicted their first defeat on them this season as in 2023. More than the desire to make up for it, it is a feeling of revenge which will animate the teammates of Benjamin Garcia.
