The prize for best disguise for the 2024 Toul soup festival goes to the “Big Chicken”, the mascot of Festy Park, the city’s amusement park. This white, red and yellow full-length costume appealed to young and old alike.
The votes of Toulouse residents then determined the prettiest stand of the cartoon-themed event. It’s the teenagers from the city’s leisure centers who win. For several weeks, they worked on making original Disney-themed sets. Stitch and Simba particularly caught the eye of visitors.

The Agafab association of the Cordier home lost its first place this year, but remains in second position. The women of the association leave with the silver potato masher. The Smurfettes had concocted Gargamelle’s soup. “It’s the first time we’ve won even though we’ve been participating for years. We are super happy,” says Jennifer, a volunteer.

It’s about enjoying it with everyone,” emphasizes Odette, 94, who has participated in the soup festival with the forest home for five years in a row. “We never won,” she smiles.
However, like many, she continues to be there every year. Proof that the most important thing is to participate.
