“Encourage people to help even more”: Neymar’s call for donations after the floods in Brazil

Neymar never hesitates to help his country. Affected by enormous floods in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, in the south of the country, Brazil is in great difficulty. Torrential rains have already killed 90 people in the region, while 200,000 people are left homeless and more than a million homes are without water. A catastrophic situation which worries the former Paris Saint-Germain striker.

On his X account, Neymar published photos and videos to show the help he has put in place. “This is a delicate moment that our Brazil is going through and helping is never too much,” wrote the Brazilian. Whatever your financial situation, what matters is what you hold in your heart. »

Thanks to his help, packs of water, food and supplies were sent to Brazil to support the victims. Crucial aid while floods are still affecting the south of the country.

“I don’t like it and I don’t like to publish everything I do or help, because whoever does it, does it with his heart and not out of commitment,” he continued to justify his photos and videos. This message therefore aims to encourage people to help even more. I would like to thank my plane pilots and everyone involved. I’m here from afar praying for everything to return to normal…”
