After a successful first edition, Vannes residents are invited to volunteer for a day with 23 associations and residences for the elderly. There are associations such as APF France handicap, Les Cuisiniers solidaires and Magasin Partage for example. On the residence side, the Beaupré-Lalande residence, Mareva Les Nymphéas or the Villa-Tohannic will be present.

“An intergenerational meeting”

200 places are available through 37 workshops in various fields: DIY, music, cooking, etc. Registrations are made on the Vannes town hall website in the “Let’s build together” section. The paper version of the registration form can be found at town hall, at the Maison des associations and at the Victor-Hugo center.

“The aim is to offer a day where residents really take part in an action in associations and residences for the elderly. It’s also an intergenerational meeting,” underlines Latifa Bakhtous, deputy mayor in charge of community life and participatory democracy.
