What stadium ticketing brings to Ligue 2 clubs

The largest stadium in Ligue 2 (41,458 seats) is also the one that generates the most income for its resident club.

As we have already seen for Ligue 1 clubs, an eye on the lower division, that of Ligue 2 and what home matches bring to championship clubs. This, taking as reference the figures published by the National Directorate of Control and Management (DNCG) for the last 2022-2023 season.

The income sector which increases the most thanks to the FCGB and ASSE

Fueled by record attendances, notably supported by the presence of the Girondins de Bordeaux and AS Saint-Etienne, it is the club operating product sector which grew the most in 2023 over 2022: + 76% to 32.7 million euros combined for the teams in the championship. That is an average per club of 1.6 million euros, almost identical to SC Bastia at Furiani or En Avant Guingamp at Roudourou.

The Girondins de Bordeaux quite clearly dominate the subject at Matmut Atlantique, ahead of AJA and Angers who were then still playing in Ligue 1.
