The year 2024 has started in style for Mana’o rums. During the General Agricultural Competition at the Agricultural Show last March, Mana’o Tahiti already had a gold medal when Mana’o Rangiroa won the silver medal. Subsequently, during the prestigious World Spirits Awards, the Mana’o Tahiti, Tahiti Paille and Rangiroa rums all won a gold medal.

This time, it was at Rhum Fest Paris that Mana’o distinguished himself. Out of 43 rums entered, including rums from prestigious distilleries, only three, including two Mana’o, obtained the gold medal. For clarification, the gold medal is only awarded by the jury to rums having obtained a score of at least 16 out of 20. In the Pure Jus / Agricole Blanc category, Mana’o Blanc Tahiti and Mana’o Blanc Rangiroa therefore both obtained a gold medal in the international blind tasting competition.

The Rhum Fest Paris took place from May 4 to 6 at the Parc Floral de Paris. It brought together 137 houses from 35 countries. A number of exhibitors which makes this Parisian festival the largest European show dedicated to rum culture.
