Joe Biden says Israel should ‘consider other options’ than striking Iran oil sites

Joe Biden had an exchange with the press this Friday, October 4. The American president notably mentioned the conflict in the Middle East.

US President Joe Biden said on Friday that Israel should “consider other options” than striking oil sites in Iran, after admitting the day before that this possibility was under “discussions”.

“I’m worried about what they’re going to do.”

“If I were in their place, I would consider other options than hitting oil fields” in Iran, he said. And added that he was trying to “mobilize the rest of the world” to achieve peace in the Middle East.

During an exchange with the press at the White House, Joe Biden also said he “does not know” whether the presidential election on November 5 would be “peaceful” because of the behavior of Republican candidate Donald Trump.

“The things that Trump said and the things he said last time when he didn’t like the outcome of the election were very dangerous,” the Democratic leader said. “So I’m worried about what they’re going to do,” he said.
