National coach Domenico Tedesco released his selection on Friday morning for the tough diptych later this month in the Nations League against Italy (October 10 in Rome) and (October 14 in the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels). Tedesco has room for four newcomers with Maarten Vandevoordt, Malick Fofana, Cyril Ngonge and Matte Smets and also allows Leandro Trossard to return to Belgium.

The Devils will take on Italy next Thursday in Rome. Four days later there is the home match against France in the King Baudouin Stadium. After two games, the Red Devils are in third place in group A2 of the Nations League, with three points. The first two in the group play a quarter-final, the numbers three play a jump-off match against a number two from the second division and the fourth drops directly to that second division.

Striking: Arthur Vermeeren was not selected for the Red Devils. He will play for the national promises during this international match.
