Friday May 3, 2024it was 10 p.m. when national police officers arrested a man in a playground located rue Maurice-Thiriet in the Neuville district of Dieppe (Seine-Maritime).

The police have been there since the beginning of the evening. She first came around 8:35 p.m. when teenagers gathered in the park were making a little noise.

Angry

The man arrested two hours later was also angry with them. If he caught the eye of the police, it was because he hid a bottle of flammable liquid under a wooden game.

He is 34 years old and has 1.56 grams of alcohol per liter of blood. One of the games in the park shows signs of a fire.

Street furniture set on fire

Arrested and placed in police custody, the man admitted to having set fire to street furniture. He explains that he had spent the afternoon in the park and that his daughters had wanted to play in a wooden house.

Except that a gang of teenagers had prevented the children from accessing the game. Returning home, angry, he had an aperitif before going out and burning the game in question.
