Selon Alyaoum24, the regulatory deadline of 60 days from the first action taken has been exceeded. This mission, chaired by Ibrahim Khayi from the National Rally of Independents (RNI) group, began its activities in November 2023.
It started with a series of discussions with Nizar Baraka, the Minister of Equipment and Water, and Anouar Benazzouz, general director of ADM. These interviews aim to identify the problems and challenges facing the company, particularly in terms of infrastructure and meeting user expectations.
Members of the mission also conducted visits to the main highways between Rabat, Casablanca, Mohammed-V airport and Berrechid, as well as between Berrechid, Marrakech and Agadir. The purpose of these inspections is to evaluate the progress of the work and to see first-hand the current conditions of the roads.
In addition, a meeting is scheduled for this Monday, following the plenary session of the House, to discuss progress. This session follows a previous meeting with Nadia Fettah, the Minister of Economy and Finance, which took place on March 25, 2024.
The final report of the mission, which will be discussed and submitted to the committee concerned, must follow a rigorous procedure stipulated by the internal regulations. This process includes the examination of the report by the members of the commission and the participation of the government in the discussions, before the Bureau of the Council decides whether or not to bring the file before the plenary session.
