For four days, from September 30 to October 3, 2024, the Côtes-d’Armor Assize Court, at the Saint-Brieuc courthouse, judged Khaled Achiri, who had filed an appeal after his conviction at first instance, in October 2023.

The -Atlantique Assize Court sentenced him to 20 years of criminal imprisonment for the murder of his neighbor’s son, in Issé, near Châteaubriant, in January 2021.

On January 8, 2021, the mother of young Klein Rasolo organized a party for her son’s 21st birthday. Khaled Aciri had been invited. The 40-year-old man grabbed two 18 and 20 cm knives and attacked several people. First of all, Klein Rasolo’s father-in-law, very seriously injured in the abdomen and gutted. Then the 21-year-old young man, who succumbed to a section of the femoral artery. Another guest, aged 19, was severely injured in the hand.

This Thursday, October 3, the attorney general, Stéphane Cantero, requested a sentence “between 12 and 15 years old”. After five hours of deliberation, Khaled Achiri was sentenced to 16 years of criminal imprisonment. He has already served almost four years.
