After two first days full of discoveries, meetings and activities for the whole family, the Roman Days of Nîmes continue this Sunday, May 5. The complete program.

GERMANICUS AND THE BARBARIAN WRATH
In an exceptional setting, more than 600 reenactors from all over Europe bring you back to life the history of the Barbarians and the battle of Teutoburg against the Romans. This story full of twists and turns told with passion will take you back in time and immerse you in the heart of the Roman Empire. Don’t miss this unique show, told by the legendary praeco, which will delight young and old history and culture lovers alike!

THE GALLO-ROMAN VILLAGE
Discover the workshops (ceramics, food, bronze, rope making, leather work, Gallic fortifications and places of worship, etc.), falconry demonstrations (hawks, falcons, owls, eagles, vultures, owls), wooden games and more Gallo-Roman decorations.

THE FORT OF THE LEGIONNAIRES
Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the daily life (military and civil) of the legionnaires inside a completely reconstructed Roman fort. On the program: entertainment, demonstrations and workshops as well as numerous activities for young and old (chain mail workshop, sculpture, music, writing, architecture, agrimensore or Roman religion).

THEATER PLAY: OPUS II
Satirical skits, both playful and educational, deal with the history of great Breton characters. This play will introduce you, with the help of OOXII, to a Roman spy, the famous warrior Boudica. ANCIENT MARKET
Transformed for the occasion into an ancient Roman market, the Esplanade hosts numerous stands worthy of the great markets of the time. Around forty stalls offer products used and marketed in Roman times.

MURDER PARTY
Explore the city through an ephemeral, life-size investigation game on the theme of Roman life. Players equipped with a map of the city must find the game’s costumed actors and solve puzzles near the city’s emblematic historical sites.
