Good news for cross-border workers Lorraine who stock up on unleaded 98 in Luxembourg: its price has dropped considerably this Friday, May 3, 2024.
Due to a decrease in 5.2 cents applied this Friday, the price of lead free 98 is now set at 1,748 euros the liter.
The prices of lead free 95 and diesel remain unchanged: their prices per liter amount respectively to 1,653 euros And 1,514 euros.
What is the difference with the Moselle?
After this drop of several cents, the price gap widens between the Luxembourg and Lorraine stations. To give you an idea, here are some prices in Moselle between Metz and the border:
- Carrefour Market, Florange : 1,921 euros
- Esso Express, Hayange : 1,936 euros
- Leclerc, Rombas : 1,949 euros
- Leclerc, Fameck : 1,949 euros
- Intermarché, Guenange : 1,951 euros
