Good news for the inhabitants of . From this Tuesday 1is October 2024, fuel prices fall across the region, reports Martinique the 1st . In a press release, the prefecture set out the new prices for different petroleum products.

Unleaded for less than €1.80/l

Thus, unleaded Superfuel saw its price drop by €0.05 compared to the month of September, to now stand at a maximum of €1.78/l. Road diesel has only lost one cent in one month and stands at €1.64/litre.

On the other hand, the gas bottle is now more expensive. While those of 12.5 kg sold for €25.66, they now cost €26.53, an increase of 87 cents, our colleagues report.

As also indicated on the radio RCI these figures were determined by taking into account several elements. Firstly, crude oil prices, a barrel of which averaged $74.49 in August. This fell by 7.9% due to the slowdown in the Chinese economy and its demand for energy. Next comes the drop in European gasoline prices (SSP) of 12.3%, and diesel prices (GO) of 8.5%.

Butane prices are up 2.2% on average.
