This Thursday, May 2, Adriana Karembeu’s autobiography was released. In this book, the ex-model confides in her love life, her childhood and even the attempted rape of which she was a victim.
At 52, Adriana Karembeu decides to reveal and confide about her life in a book, an autobiography entitled “Libre”, published this Thursday. The former model looks back on the significant events in her life: from her relationship with footballer Christian Karembeu to her difficult childhood with an authoritarian father.
The family universe
The Red Cross ambassador recalls her harsh and violent childhood, particularly the tumultuous relationship with her father. As for her name, she revealed why she kept it. “I built myself with this name by which everyone knows me. It’s sort of my stage name, like an artist. And the law allows me to keep it”she assures.
Pregnancy and miscarriages
The ex-model also reveals in his book the journey he went through to have a child. After having undergone in vitro fertilization, Adriana Karembeu went to her gynecologist who explained to her that “it’s going to be hard”. If at 42, seeing her periods delayed, she first thinks of menopause, the pregnancy tests are clear: she is pregnant.
