It’s up to the one who screws up the most… For several months, the tarpaulins are very regularly used by the farmers of Occitanie to tell them anger and send messages. Until now, it was mainly radars that were targeted…
But for the past few days, they have entrance signs to municipalities in the Gers which are thus covered. An action signed by an agricultural union. But it is not Rural Coordination, which has targeted the department’s radars in recent weeks. This time, it was the JA, the Young Farmers, who took action. And they explain it.
Vaccination, coriandre, simplification administrative…
“On September 26, Jeunes Agriculteurs Occitanie sent the President of the
Republic a letter mentioning all the problems facing farmers in the region as well as the requests that would make it possible to preserve what can still be preserved. This letter was obviously co-signed by the Young Farmers of Gers since the situation of Gers farmers is extremely worrying, just like that of all Occitan farmers,” announced the Gers JA.
Which evoke all kinds of “strong topical measures”, such as vaccination or aid for coriander cultivation. But also demand “to amplify the administrative simplification of daily life”. and “broad measures to structure our agriculture”.
Actions that sometimes inspire other departments
A new mode of operation is therefore chosen by this union after the covered radars of Rural Coordination. But also after the now famous upturned signs of the Tarn, which spread throughout France last year at the call of the JA in particular. Recently, the JA and the FDSEA of Tarn took up this idea by modifying it: they exchanged the entrance signs of the municipalities of the department. But the demands remain the same.
