Since Sunday, September 1, Prime Video has been offering French subscribers the opportunity to relive the early 2000s with a series that left its mark on the small screen. Zodiac and its sequel The Master of the Zodiacbroadcast from 2004 on TF1, are available in full on the platform which is also currently broadcasting The Rings of Powerreal cardboard. In Zodiacwhich had a season of 5 episodes broadcast in the summer of 2004, we followed Esther Delaître, a 27-year-old woman whose father, Gabriel Saint-André, who had never recognized her, was forced to reveal her existence to his whole family. A crow forced him to do it. But after the revelation, a series of murders targeting the Saint-André family and signed “The Zodiac” began. As the investigation stagnated, Esther decided to find out who the murderer was herself. His investigation quickly made him understand that he was focused on astrology.
The success of Zodiac led to a sequel, two years later
In 2006, building on the success of the first season, TF1 offered a sequel entitled The Master of the Zodiac. Esther then became an astrology consultant within the FBI in New York. Returning to France to attend the Zodiac trial, which she had managed to unmask – we won’t spoil her identity, but it’s worth the detour – Esther quickly realized that her presence had once again triggered a wave of murders. This time the criminal signed “The Master of the Zodiac”.
A director specializing in TV films and television series at the helm of Zodiac

In 2004, he chose Claire Keim to play Esther in Zodiac. Francis Huster played Commissioner Antoine Keller, responsible for unraveling the case.
