The two coaches from Castelnaudary, in Fédérale 1, continue at the head of the Chaurien club, which snatched its stay on the last day of this season.
Arriving at the start of the season from Saint-Sulpice for Victor Labat, forwards coach, and from Mazamet, for Damien Pagès, backs coach, they will still be at the head of the Rocistes next season, thus continuing their project which was planned for two seasons.
Despite a 2023-2024 financial year made difficult by many changes, the two Chaurian coaches managed to keep the Castelnaudary club in Federal 1. They are now preparing for the 2024-2025 season. When finalizing their extensions, Victor Labat confided: “After a season of transition, I am very happy to support the ROC project for an additional season. An ambitious project that respects values and men sharing the same passion.”

For his part, Damien Pagès added that “This year of transition was very difficult mentally. The group showed resilience and character during the last match. I would like this character to be visible at home to give more pleasure to the De-Coubertin public.”
