May 1st in Essonne: will shopping centers be open or closed?

Doing your shopping this Wednesday, May 1, 2024, will be complicated in Essonne. Indeed, May 1, Labor Day, is part of one of the rare dates with December 25 and January 1, where businesses completely lower their curtains.
Some businesses exceptionally open on 3 public holidays
And this year again, the department’s shopping centers will indeed be closed :
- Le Spot Shopping Center (Évry-Courcouronnes): closed.
- Center Marques Avenue (Corbeil-Essonnes): closed.
- Ulis 2 Shopping Center: closed.
- Ville-du-Bois Shopping Center: closed.
- Carrefour Villabé Shopping Center: closed.
- Aushopping Brétigny-sur-Orge: closed.
- La Croix Blanche (Brétigny sur Orge): closed.
However, all of these shopping centers will be exceptionally open during the three other public holidays in May, namely May 8, 9 and 20, 2024.
