In Créteil, the Rochelais did not deliver the match of their lives but won against Racing 92 (16-17). Brice Dulin shone and Teddy Iribaren was decisive when on the other side, Cameron Woki was at fault in the money time…

The tops

Brice Dulin is a thirty-year-old who is doing well! Facing his former teammates from Racing 92, the kid from fulfilled his mission perfectly at the back of the field, showing himself to be very clean in cover and intelligent in his play at the foot of occupation. Brice Dulin also took advantage of this return to Ile de to make his canes do the talking and tore the opposing curtain twice. Good Dulin, indeed!

We will not say that Teddy Iribaren, also a former Racingman, made a sparkling entry into the offensive animation, in Créteil. However, the former Racingman had enough nerves to score the final penalty of this meeting, the one which allowed his club to achieve an unexpected victory at the Duvauchelle stadium. Calmness is the mark of champions, isn’t it?

The flops

Thomas Laclayat having been injured during the warm-up, it was the Georgian Gia Khairashvili who started on the right of the Ile-de-France scrum to face the colossi of the Atlantic. To be honest, Lelo was not really sovereign in closed melee and sometimes at fault in groupings. His performance needs to be reviewed, with a view to the trip to next week.

Although he was, as usual, very strong in the line-up, French international Cameron Woki was however at fault at the end of the match, on a charge from the left pillar of Stade Rochelais Reda Wardi, who then flattened a try. Woki then received a yellow card and the numerical inferiority then proved fatal to the Racingmen
