Once again, we will have to explain the rules to obtain a penalty.

Unfortunately this was not enough to change the mind of a somewhat stubborn Letexier at the time.
Nobody is asking for leniency, just harmony in French arbitration as we know that in a future match a penalty will be whistled, whether against Nice or not, for not much.
It’s a shame because the meeting was rather pleasant. The Lensois were ultra-dominant in the first half and deserved to score.
On the other hand, with the entries of Clauss and Dante at the break, the Aiglons changed their face. The second half should have seen the Niçois score a goal in their turn (from a penalty?).
Finally the draw is not so illogical. Especially since the two goalkeepers shone, notably each deflecting a shot onto their post.
