Israel continues its campaign of intensive strikes against Hezbollah

The Israeli army again carried out raids against Hezbollah on Sunday in which nearly 60 people died, two days after killing its leader Hassan Nasrallah as well as dozens of members of the pro-Iranian Lebanese Shiite Islamist movement. Since mid-September, at least 1,600 people have lost their lives in Lebanon.

The French Minister of Foreign Affairs landed in Beirut on Sunday evening. He announced the donation of 12 tonnes of medical equipment, while the Quai d’Orsay revealed that a second French national had died in Lebanon. The head of diplomacy will continue the interviews this Monday.
