How to age well? So that the effects of aging are felt as late as possible, there are some tips to follow: eat healthily, have physical activity, stimulate your memory, maintain a social life and have regular health check-ups.

To implement this advice, the Domus multidisciplinary health center is organizing a meeting with health professionals: doctor, nurse, podiatrist, physiotherapist, speech therapist, occupational therapist, pharmacist, Saturday May 4 from 9 a.m. to noon in the courtyard of City Hall.

Health centers are structures which bring together professionals and medical assistants or pharmacists, particularly in rural areas represented by a low density of said professionals.

The various public health actors will inform the public about the services available to stay at home comfortably and safely for as long as possible and will help them to create, in the form of games, a personal file for Aging Well. The Adao association (association of caregivers of Occitanie), whose mission is to accompany, inform and support caregivers, will also be present as well as the GRADeS e-santé Occitanie whose mission is to develop the uses of digital technology in health and to give the necessary advice on using the digital health record “My Health Space”.
