Unfortunately for motorists, fuel prices in remain high. But some pay a higher bill than others at the pump. The “dieselists” are the luckiest because, according to the latest statement from the Ministry of Ecological Transition, published this Monday, the price of a liter of diesel fell again last week, to 1.7521 euros, compared to 1.7687 euros seven days earlier (i.e. 1.7 euro cents less). A downward trend which has continued since the peak at the beginning of February, when diesel sold for more than 1.83 euros on average at service stations.

It is therefore those who run on petrol who are the worst off. Data from the Ministry of Ecological Transition shows ever higher prices for lead-free 95-E10. Certainly, the price of a liter of unleaded 95-E10 did not increase last week, but it still remains expensive for motorists, at 1.9042 euros. This fuel, one of the most sold in France, is approximately 7.2 cents more expensive compared to the beginning of February.

While diesel and gasoline continue to evolve in diametrically opposed ways, the price of oil has fluctuated a lot and started to fall again in recent weeks.
