I love what you do (France 2): Gérard Lanvin and Artus “lived together” for the good of the film (ZAPTV)

On the occasion of the release of the film I love what you doGérard Lanvin and Artus were invited in We are liveon France 2, in May 2022. While the feature film is broadcast this Sunday, April 28 on France 2, this is a great opportunity to look back on what they said about the filming at the time.

In comedy I love what you do by Philippe Guillard, Gérard Lanvin plays his own role while comedian Artus plays that of a fan called Momo. The latter turns out to be very clingy with the actor, which gives rise to awkward situations.

Artus, thus, had “fear of being disappointed” of his meeting with Gérard Lanvin, which he loves in his films. “He cleared that up very quickly. When Gérard Lanvin and Artus go shopping together

For his part, Gérard Lanvin was not afraid of meeting Artus. “I was very happy because I had spotted it at the Montreux Festivals, etc. He has a big personality, he is brilliant, above all he is very endearing“, he said. “Life is magnificent. We lived together for two and a half months in the same house, with Antoine Bertrand too, who plays the director. Very quickly, the actor duo developed habits, like real roommates: “We did our little errands together“, added Artus before telling this anecdote: “We were masked, and it’s funny because people looked at us and there was real doubt. We saw people saying to themselves: ‘No, well no, what the hell would Gérard Lanvin and Artus be doing together, plus in Narbonne?’ There was really Gérard pushing the shopping cart“. As for Gérard Lanvin, he recalled that Artus was “cook” at the start and that he was able to delight all the guests. The atmosphere was therefore visibly good!
