Bruno: Not really. I think that at the time, I was the most serene Of the four Invincibles (laughs). Because unlike other quiz shows, I find that my strengths, such as pop culture, including cinema, TV series, music, current literature, etc., are among the most widespread subjects, especially when we invite personalities. Whereas in other shows, generally, the candidates, the champions, their favorite theme is classical theater, French history, etc. And for Marie-Christine, Sandrine and Romain, it’s a bit like that.

I think that these are really candidates who are passionate about literature, history, theater… Marie-Christine loves theater, for example, and I therefore think that it is perhaps they who are more apprehensive than me. . During the last show, there was a Miss France theme and fortunately it fell on me. The other three told me: “If it had been us, it would have been a disaster.” So in the end, I went a little more calmly by telling myself that since it is the celebrities who choose the themes, it will be more in line with their interests and that they will surely choose themes than I do myself. I would have chosen if I were in their place.
You are once again victorious with your friends. Happy ?
Of course ! I told it to myself this evening (laughs) because all four of them had a duel with a target. The other three lose their duel and I play last against Églantine Éméyé, and I win my duel. Already, I am the only one of the four to have won my duel. Then, it’s the four animators winning against the four of us. We win… It’s not a duel since there are two times four of us, but we win the final round. There was a TV series question and I had an epiphany (laughs). I was still quite proud of myself, saying to myself: “Not only am I the only one to have won the duel, but what’s more, we can almost say that it was me who made the team win in the end. I’m still quite happy afterwards, everyone else obviously participated in the final and didn’t rely on me, but I still had this moment of pride where I said to myself: “Well, maybe it’s true. why it’s my favorite game, it’s because it’s the one I win” (laughs).

What does it feel like to be such a great champion?
For my ego, it’s always better (laughs). Let’s say that the four of us, TV game champions, perhaps cover a few more areas, etc. And above all, as I said, the themes, as they are chosen by celebrities, are generally more within my spectrum of knowledge. So that’s cool. Let’s say that there was also a bit of an association side, because each of the Invincibles played for an association and so did the celebrities. And seeing as they had won their first three duels, I think it was 5,000 euros per duel, so they were at 15,000 euros and we were at zero… I didn’t feel like a very big champion when we started. said: “No, but wait, if we don’t win anything, it’s still shameful to say on TV: ‘We represent an association and we leave with zero.’ We said to ourselves that it was a total shame (laughs). And we finally won so that’s nice. Then, to be honest, apart from the one more victory aspect, I don’t really keep a list (laughs). We don’t really care who won and then we forget it every time. Right now, I’m just happy that we were able to earn money for the association.
There’s still pride, right?
Yes, of course, there is the ego which makes us say to ourselves: “I won, I’m happy, but that’s not really what motivates us”. In fact, I’m absolutely not competitive, I don’t know if you’ve seen it (laughs), but as a result, I come mainly to have fun, to meet people. I find it so cool since I’m just an average guy who made a TV game show and now I find myself making a show with hosts. Besides, for the little anecdote, there is Damien Thévenot, since the hosts choose who they face, who sent me a message on Instagram, the evening of filming, telling me: “Obviously I wasn’t going to challenge, you were too strong.” I haven’t told anyone that yet (laughs)! It made me happy and it reinforces this idea where I’m just happy to be there to live experiences that I would never have had before. And it doesn’t matter if I win, if I lose, if I start first or whatever, I’ve just had incredible experiences, so it’s great.
