More than 8,000 festival-goers came to the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts festival on Friday evening in Pigeon Island, in the north of the island.

This evening was dedicated to Caribbean fusion music. Ezra From Fun Machine, a Saint Lucian soca singer, opened the ball. The artist highlights the Dennery Segment, a musical genre from the island of Saint Lucia. A clever mix of traditional Caribbean music, such as soca and calypso, combined with electronic music.

Then, Jamaican artist Beres Hammond once again brought together several generations around the love of reggae.
