A spectacular school bus accident and equally impressive images. A school bus transporting middle school students left the road this Monday, September 23, 2024 in the town of Belmont-d’Azergues (Rhône), a little over twenty kilometers from Lyon.
Six slightly injured and huge emergency resources on site
Seventy-five firefighters, 34 vehicles and 20 gendarmes were sent to the scene, as well as a Samu helicopteraccording to our information. The accident left six passengers with minor injuries, teenagers who were heading home, it was learned Lyon news with the Rhône prefecture.
The school bus reportedly left the road near a bus stop before hitting an embankment and ending up partly in the air.

An investigation has been opened by the gendarmerie to determine the circumstances of the accident.
