On the occasion of the European Heritage Days on September 21 and 22, Salins-les-Bains offers a weekend rich in discoveries. More than 30 local producers will be present with a variety of products: cured meats, Jura wines, cheeses, vegetables, honeys, breads, pastries and more. The market will be held in front of the Grande Saline Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an inauguration on Saturday at 11 a.m.
On the program
Gastronomic experience: Fabrice Piguet, Master Chef of France, will delight you with his “Brasero Gastronome”. Accompanied by his team, he will create menus based on market products. Whether you love organic and local meats or are a fan of vegetarian dishes, you will find something to delight your taste buds.
Animations and music : folk and blues concerts will punctuate the weekend thanks to performances by the AMS and a show by the group Rock Therapy on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Competitions and workshops on local flavors, salt processing and lactofermentation are also planned.
Heritage visits: guided tours of the Grande Saline, the Maison du Pardessus; guided tours of the town, the dome of Notre Dame Libératrice, the Apothecary’s shop… and other historic sites. Sunday at 3:30 p.m.an organ concert at the Saint-Anatoile Collegiate Church by Laurent Baranski will close the festivities. Free entry.
