The day after Air Canada and its pilots announced the tentative deal Sunday, the airline launched a surprise sale to thank its customers for their patience and understanding during the long process.
“Many travellers have changed their plans in anticipation of the disruption and Air Canada wishes to show its appreciation for their patience and flexibility,” reads the advisory sent to media on September 15.
Air Canada is offering 25% off new bookings with an additional 2,500 Aeroplan points. The offer is now live and will be available until 11:59pm on Wednesday 18th September for eligible travel booked by 31st May 2025*.
The airline will also surprise customers at select airports across Canada to help start their travels off right with tokens of appreciation, including Aeroplan points, lounge vouchers, snacks, gifts and more.
