Co-organized with youth services from different sectors, the “summer job in Couserans” forum will take place at the Champs-de-Mars this Wednesday, April 17, from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The event is part of a departmental dynamic since other events of this type have been organized throughout the month in Ariège. Its primary objective is to connect local employers and young people aged 16 to 25 and over, looking for seasonal employment.
Thus, companies will be present and will offer their job offers on dedicated stands. Various sectors will be represented: tourism, hotels, restaurants, personal assistance, the entertainment sector, and even agriculture.
Job dating with employers is planned. It is therefore recommended to come with an updated CV. An announcement wall will indicate the vacancies to be filled, but also the needs in terms of apprenticeships, for example. Workshops will also be organized to help search for summer jobs, or create CVs (with the possibility of printing them).
And it won’t just be about summer jobs. Many youth partners will also be present linked to orientation, employment and training, or even cultural leisure activities.
Around the Purple Campus, Agri 2 000 or even the CFPPA, temporary employment agencies and of course France Travail, representatives of the Francas de l’Ariège, Info Jeunes Ariège, Mission Locale 09, the LEC of Saint-Gironnais or the Caf 09 for a presentation of the open holiday system with “Sac Ados”.
