Three wildfires around Fox Lake threaten the community. A little after 7 p.m., about twenty residences, the police station and the general store Northern Store were destroyed.

A visitor center was opened at the Fox Lake Band Council office. A center at the sports complex of High Level has already hosted around 100 people, according to the community of High Level.

At 7:21 p.m., Parkland County ordered the evacuation of people who live west of Range 65 to the Pembina River and north of County Road 530 to Highway 16, including all residents of Entwistle.

Parkland County is asking all evacuees to report to the Wabamun Jubilee Hall Reception Center at 5132 53rd Avenue.

Due to an out of control fire southeast of Drayton Valley, Brazeau County, Alberta is ordering the immediate evacuation of all residents north of County Road 482, south of Highway 39, west of Range 64 and east of the North Saskatchewan River.

All residents within 2 kilometers of the evacuated area must be ready to leave their homes within 30 minutes of an evacuation order.

A visitor center is open at the Drayton Valley Omniplex, 5737 45e Ave.

In Lac Sainte-Anne County, the fire has spread and the county is ordering the evacuation of residents from Range 60 west of Range 64, from County Road 544 A to Highway 43 A traffic light is located near Rang 60 and County Road 560.

All residents should report to the Sangudo Arena Visitor Center located at 5235 54th Avenue, Sangudo

In Yellowhead County, an evacuation order affects the area north of Wildwood.

All residents along County Road 544 to County Road 553, east of Highway 22 and west of Range 92 are to vacate the property immediately.

The county suggests taking Rang 92 south out of the area and checking 511.alberta.ca to find out which roads are closed.

Evacuees can go to the Wildwood Community Hall at 4904 51st Avenue. You can call 1 (833) 334-4630 for information.

In the same county, a fire is burning southeast of the Brazeau Dam and west of the Brazeau River. The evacuation area is bounded by the Elk River Road to the north, the Brazeau Reservoir to the east, just beyond the Brazeau River to the south, and Range 145 to the west.

Evacuation routes are Wolf Lake Road northbound, Elk River Road westbound, and Elk River Road to Highway 620 eastbound.

Another fire spreads southeast of Cold Lake First Nation from Highway 897 west to Rang 24. A residence is destroyed.

At 6:22 p.m., Cold Lake First Nation ordered the evacuation of all residents south of County Road 614 to Range 24. They are to report to the Dene Conference Center and Hotel located along the highway 28 and row 423.

Elsewhere, the evacuation order in Leduc County is still in effect, but the brush fire was contained as of 8:12 p.m. The response team remains on site to monitor the terrain overnight.

The affected area is approximately 6 kilometers north and 8 kilometers west of the village of Warburg. Affected residents reside along Range 41, east of Range 35 and County Road 494 and north of County Road 495.

Range 40 is closed between County Roads 494 and 495.

Leduc County asks residents to call (780) 955-4546 when in a safe location to register with the county.

In Edmonton, the city’s police department notes that the driveway for 111e Avenue from Anthony Henday Road is closed due to a brush fire. The 111e Avenue is closed between Rue 190 and Route Anthony Henday. No access to the road is possible from the 111e Ave.

Edmonton Fire Services are expected to be on site for several hours.
