Gökan İnik, President of the Association of Religious Officials, in his message on the occasion of Miraç Kandili, said, “May our hearts be filled with these beautiful feelings on this holy night. I pray to God that the Miraj night will lead to the unity and solidarity of our nation and the entire Islamic world, with the hope that God's guidance, mercy and blessings will never be lacking.” he said.
Reminding that the 27th night of the month of Rajab, the first of three months, is Miraj Kandili, Inik thanked God for giving us the happiness and excitement of reaching this holy night.
Inik's message, he also shared the following information about Miraç Kandili:
-“Ascension; It is a spiritual and sublime journey that the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) made one night, during the most difficult years of the process of inviting humanity to Islam, from the Masjid al-Haram to the Masjid al-Aqsa and from there to observe the infinite verses and power of the Almighty God, the owner of time and space. . This journey contains many divine wisdom and blessings. Prayer, where we come into the divine presence five times a day, where we turn to our Lord with our prayers and supplications, and which our Prophet expressed as 'Prayer is the ascension of the believer', has been commanded on this holy night.
Mirac means exaltation. Miraj means, first of all, being aware that the only owner of the paths of ascension is Allah Almighty. Miraj is the name of setting off again, leaving aside pain, sorrow, helplessness and hopelessness.
Ascension; It teaches us to believe that there is ease with every difficulty and to never give up hope in the mercy of our Lord. The believer who understands Miraj witnesses the unity, greatness and eternity of Almighty Allah, the sole owner of time and space. The society that takes Miraj as a model is glorified with virtues such as truth, justice, honesty, mercy, brotherhood and sacrifice.”
