Friday night and Saturday morning were very cold yet again. Temperatures fell into the upper teens to low 20s across our area. However, sunshine was abundant Saturday, so afternoon temperatures rebounded into the 50s. Saturday night looks cold, but not as cold as recent nights. Temperatures were in the upper 20s to low 30s at 10PM Saturday, and that may be near our overnight lows.
Clouds increase Saturday night, preventing temperatures from falling. In fact, they may rise a bit, into the mid 30s by sunrise Sunday. Sunday looks partly to mostly cloudy, but dry during the day. Temperatures warm to near 60°. Rain returns Sunday night. Looks like a steady soaking rain, without and thunder or lightning. Rain totals could be near half of one inch through Monday morning.
-While rain lingers at least across south Alabama early to mid Monday morning, the afternoon looks drier. However, the sky remains mostly cloudy. Temperatures also look cooler Monday, with highs in the 50s. If clouds clear Monday night, lows could fall into the 30s. The rest of the week looks partly to mostly cloudy, but mild, with high temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. We could see another round of rain next weekend.
