The French men's Rugby sevens team was eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Perth stage this Saturday. They were beaten by Australia after a disappointing match.
It's the end and the French team remains hungry. This Saturday, during the third stage of the world rugby sevens circuit, in Perth, the Blues failed in the quarter-finals against Australia. While they had achieved a flawless performance in the group stageincluding a final victory over Spain this Saturday morning, Benoit Baby's men were unable to resist the Wallabies. Defeated 24 to 12, Mateo Garcia's teammates are therefore frustrated.
The girls have a quarter to play
As a reminder, the reigning Olympic champions had won silver during the last stage of the world circuit, in Cape Town. This trip to Perth is therefore a stop. The women's team is still in the race, despite a slap received against Australia during the last match of the group stage (5-40). The girls will face the United States in the quarterfinals at 1:02 p.m.
