Between the Vesdre and the Meuse, the Tec drivers are not giving up. The “emotional” movement, which began Thursday following a new attack on three drivers, continued this Friday. And, it may well last until Monday, as the union organizations announce.
A general meeting took place this Friday morning. In order to calm the staff’s enthusiasm, several proposals were on the table. In this case, an increase in the Tec’s strike force, via the hiring of new controllers, and reinforced collaboration with the police. Insufficient. The strikers therefore continued their actions. “Despite constructive proposals that address the safety issue and new discussions today with staff, bus traffic will not resume normally this weekend either. Disturbances are, in fact, expected until Sunday“, informs the transport company. “The prospects for recovery are nevertheless encouraging for January 27 when all of our services should be provided normally.” For the moment, the Robermont and Rocourt depots remain the main ones affected.
