Around 300 students participated this Thursday, January 23rd, in the “Braga a Ler Camões” action, an initiative organized by the Braga School Libraries Network, in partnership with the Lúcio Craveiro da Silva Library, supervised by the City Council and the University of Minho.
The action aimed to raise awareness among Braga residents about celebrating Luis de Camões’ 500th birthday and reading his works.
After visiting the Rectory of the University of Minho, the students went to Praça Municipal where they were received by the mayor of Braga, Ricardo Rio, and the councilor for Education, Carla Sepúlveda.
-Students from the André Soares, D. Maria II, Carlos Amarante, Real and Colégio D. Pedro V School Groups participated in this initiative.
