Robson Bambu said that, despite Sp. Braga’s defeat against Saint-Gilloise, (2-1)in the penultimate round of the Europa League, the Braga fans are proud of their performance in Belgium. “Our team is very proud, despite the result. We wanted to win. We had opportunities to turn the game around, I had another one at the end, but unfortunately I couldn’t score”, he began by referring to DAZN.
“We were a group that dedicated itself until the end of the game, we fought for victory. Now, it’s time to raise our heads and reflect on what we need to improve. We have to be mature enough to put our heads in place,” he added, before saying that the team has to reflect on the mistakes made: “Today it is the collective work that stands out. We cannot forget that, we controlled in the 1st half, as well as in the 2nd, there were two mistakes that cannot happen in a game of extreme importance. We’ll have to reflect.”
“My frustration is the same as that of everyone in the dressing room. We were capable of winning, we demonstrated at all times, even when we lost, that we could have achieved a different result. I want to highlight the team spirit we had”, he concluded.
